LED courtesy lights are a great solution for lighting hazardous areas
We usually use them for interior or exterior courtesy lighting. They gently illuminate hazardous areas such as steps, staircases or other elevation changes, walkways, storage areas, salons and staterooms, as well as helm stations, flybridges and hard tops. They can be also used as cockpit, compartment, cabin, locker lights etc. and can be mounted anywhere. They are popular for the illumination of the exterior and interior paths on yachts as they take care of both, practical and safety issues.
Providing light spot on specific spaces can improve yacht usability and liveability, it keeps all the design features and enhances the creation of nice atmospheres on board. They provide bight and clean lighting of the interior of your boat or yacht and save you money through their long life and high efficiency. They can be also combined to create special lighting modes.
We usually find them in small sizes, they have an amazing output, super thin profile and innovative mounting system. Their intelligent circuitry enables advanced features like dimming and multi-colour control without external control modules or specialized switches, which allows boat owners to use any existing on-off switches and eliminates the need for multiple wire runs, necessary for other multi-coloured lights. We can find them in different voltage versions that variate from 10 - 30VDC, the current necessary for them to work perfectly is ~580mA (at 12V) or ~320mA (at 24VDC). Their colour saturation is 5000K, with CRI that goes from 70-75.
RGB courtesy lights
They are normally designed in an innovative way, with option of different face shapes, equipped with stainless steel casings, multi-colour RGB lighting system with simple control of complete group of the lights and reflector with holographic diffuser. Some models allow changing the colours of lighting manually or automatically through the complete rainbow spectrum. The microprocessor of RGB courtesy lights can usually be controlled by DMX512 network control. They also have polarity and transient protection, wide range power supply, they consume low amounts of power and are easy to install. They are suitable as interior and exterior downlights, step or staircase lights.
12 volt courtesy LED light
These are most commonly LEDs that are suitable for cars, vehicle interiors (floor), caravans, motorhomes, vans, trucks, lorries, boats etc. They are easy to install, some models come with double sided adhesive tap for installation, which makes sure that we can put them practically anywhere. Their red and black wires can be joined with the positive and negative electrodes and then connected with the voltage of 12 V. They are very light and nicely designed, with a high quality finish, have constant voltage power supply, very stable performance, they last long (longer than 50000 hours) and have low power consumption. They often consist of 72LED light bar with switch, that produces even and bright light.
Blue LED courtesy lights
We often use them as clearance marker lights and are also suitable for interior or exterior courtesy applications on walkways, steps or storage areas. They are highly energy efficient and attractive, equipped with stainless steel housings, hidden fasteners and different number of bright LEDs that, depending on a model, provide excellent brilliance. They are known by their longevity that stretches up to 100,000 working hours. Some models have completely resin sealed electronics, polycarbonate lens and housing.
LED courtesy light boat
Boat courtesy lights are widely used for gentle illumination of hazardous areas such as steps or other elevation changes of our boat and a great way of lighting our boat deck. Whilst choosing the right type of LEDs for this purpose, we should pay attention. They must be suitable for external use in wet areas. Normally they are manufactured from brass, stainless steel or other non-corrosive materials such as opaline.
